Hog Rotor Up-grade

We recently upgraded an 1954 Jefferies 36x24 hog for one of our valued customers by installing a new Webco High Inertia Hog Rotor. This state-of-the-art rotor is specifically engineered for an easy retrofit operation, ensuring a smooth installation process with minimal maintenance requirements. Featuring a solid plate design, the rotor staggers the hammers to create a high inertia system that improves efficiency and durability. This innovative design ultimately helps save you money on motors and bearings over the long term, enhancing the overall reliability and performance of your hammer hog. Taking a smaller and more consistent cut with each rotation of the rotor in addition to a fine grate liner helps produce a smaller chip like hog as per the customer requirements for this project.

Webco Hog Hammers are constructed from durable AR450 steel and are coated with a layer of Crushed Tungsten Carbide hard weld on the striking surfaces to provide superior wear protection and enhance hammer longevity. These double-sided hammers are designed for convenience, allowing them to be rotated easily with a single bolt quick-change system, making maintenance procedures quicker and simpler for your crews. This thoughtful design helps reduce downtime and ensures your equipment stays in optimal working condition.

If you are interested in upgrading your old hog rotor to improve its performance and reliability, please don’t hesitate to give us a call for more detailed information and personalized advice.
